It seems that everyone has their own story about “the contractor from hell!” “The money pit!” “The project that never ended!” I was very excited when I finally found the home I wanted, but I also was very apprehensive; to create the living space the way I envisioned it, everything needed to be stripped out, leaving only the studs in the walls and the concrete slab. Even all the old windows had to be replaced. This was an overwhelming proposition for me.
I am very lucky that a friend recommended Brad. On the day we sat down to start planning my remodel, I gave Brad a three-ring binder of some of my ideas, so he could get a concept of my tastes and style. But even as organized as I thought I was, there were many decisions I never had considered—the project I undertook was more complex than I ever realized.
Brad was patient with me. Brad gave me hints and told me where to look for the options I should consider. And when I was totally befuddled in trying to explain what I wanted, Brad knew the right questions to ask.
While I had firm ideas of what I wanted, I admit that I am a novice at anything dealing with construction and remodeling. But my friends who have a greater technical understanding have commented on the excellent work Brad did ~~ his attention to detail, the stunning woodwork, and getting everything “just so!”
I already have recommended Brad’s services to a friend. Yet the greatest compliment I can give Brad is ~~ I would hire him again without hesitation! In 2003 my husband and I decided to remodel our 30 year old kitchen. I had one dream-red colored Mexican looking ceramic tiles and off white painted cabinets. Choosing to use Brad Clark Construction was the best decision I have ever made. This company has been built with integrity, honesty, and hard work. My kitchen is the envy of my friends and neighbors and has moved many to remodel themselves. I have since remodeled two bathrooms using Brad Clark and the bathrooms are beautiful. Brad Construction completed a Master Bedroom Suite and Bath addition at our home in 2008. This included a great Master Bath, with a gigantic glass shower enclosure and very larger champagne bubbler bath spa. During the construction process, he also upgraded our plumbing throughout the house, added a new HVAC system and completed a Patio remodel. We very much enjoy the Master Bedroom Suite also, which includes a large walk-in closet with plenty of space for clothing and of course storage. We decided to add a Master Suite rather than simply remodel our existing Mater Bedroom, which we will never regret. Our addition includes stylized window casings, upgraded door casings and base board and of course very nice crown molding at the top of our nine foot ceiling.
Brad was also creative enough to complete the Master Suite addition so it looks like it is part of the original house rather than an obvious an add-on. His choice of carpet, tile, plumbing, and of course cabinets was excellent. In our Master Bath, my wife and I were able to work along with Brad to design a huge custom cabinet system with very nice brushed nickel hardware, which is the perfect accent for the now deeply colored natural cherry wood. Special Master Bath touches included a Velux fully automated sky light with screen, very user friendly brushed nickel bath and shower fixtures, large mirror with cherry molding to match our cabinets and all the finishing touches that make this addition special. Brad completed our work in a timely manner, was very reasonable in terms of cost, worked very hard to create our design concept and was very fun to work with too. We highly recommend Brad Clark Construction for any type or remodeling or new construction design.
